Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults is at the heart of all activties in the Methodist Church, and we adhere to nationally recognised guidelines in British Law. For more information please do contact our safeguarding officer.

Safeguarding Training Foundation Course.

The next course will take place on Wednesday 9th October in White Le Head Chapel.

There will be a choice of afternoon 2pm - 4.30pm or evening 6.30pm - 9pm.

This course needs to be refreshed every four years. If you took your last course in 2015 or earlier, you need to book on this course if you are still carrying out a role which requires you to undertake the training. The following roles require people to take the Foundation training:

Minister, Local Preacher, Worship Leader, Church Steward, Circuit Steward, Church Safeguarding Officer, Pastoral Visitor, Group Leader of a group which is run on behalf of the church.
