Childrens, Families and Youth Worker

Hi, my name is Kath Jones and I am the childrens’, youth and families worker for the circuit.

I live in Darlington with my husband and two of our sons. The eldest son lives in Middlesbrough with his family.

I have been in my role for five years and I love my job as it is so varied.

I lead an Open the Book team that currently go into five schools with the Open the Book assemblies. There are also other team in the circuit who go into even more schools!

I also conduct baptisms at Delves Lane, help lead at Kogs in Lanchester and I am looking intosome new projects in other areas of the circuit.

In my free time I like to knit, crochet and read. Those who know me know that I am rarely without my knitting!
