Methodist Women in Britain
Following recent restructuring within Methodism, MWiB is to be a new movement
due to be launched fully in 2011. MWiB includes and incorporates
the Women’s Network in the Methodist Church (WN) and the
British Unit of the World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women
(British Unit, WFMUCW) and aims to go beyond both!
The aim of Methodist Women in Britain (MWiB) is to know Christ and make him known, encouraging, enabling and equipping women to participate fully in the life of the Church and in society, supporting the Church to become truly the whole people of God.
MWiB encourages women to develop creative Christian spirituality and practical social action in a global context.
