Deepening Discipleship Making More Disciples

Revive is back after a winter break. The next event will take place on March 18 at Consett Methodist Church at 7.30 for 7.45 p.m.

Our speaker, Rachael Phillips, promises to be something special.  She was a captain in the army and served in Afghanistan and has a wonderful testimony about how she became a Christian. Rachael is currently working for the Durham Diocese and recently appeared on Songs of Praise. We will be delighted to have the Lanchester Worship Band to lead our worship. There will be time for prayer and for sharing what God is doing in people’s lives. Come and be refreshed and uplifted. It will be a good evening.

What does the word "Revive" mean to you?

This set me checking the dictionary, and the definition I identified with was, to stimulate and bring back to an active state. This was exactly how I felt after attending "Revive" .

I left the meeting completely REVIVED in body, mind and also in Spirit. If you haven't attended Revive yet, come along to hear some truly gifted and inspirational speakers in a more informal format. Jan and David Arbon also provide thought provoking material as they lead worship, and different worship groups lead the singing.

God bless. Elizabeth Ramage.
