Deepening Discipleship Making More Disciples

Our next event in the Revive programme will take place on Sunday 12 November 2017 at Consett Methodist Church, 7.30 for 7.45 p.m. We are delighted welcome as our speaker Ian Proudler who, until a few months ago, was the regional manager for the Shoe Box Appeal and gave enthusiastic support to the team of volunteers in the Consett warehouse. Ian is now in a fund-raising role with Harrogate Hospital and is a very active member of an Anglican Church in Ripon. We are also delighted to announce that the young people in the KOGS band will be leading our worship again and we look forward to their refreshing approach to worship. It will be an evening not to miss as we meet for worship and fellowship.

What does the word "Revive" mean to you?

This set me checking the dictionary, and the definition I identified with was, to stimulate and bring back to an active state. This was exactly how I felt after attending "Revive" .

I left the meeting completely REVIVED in body, mind and also in Spirit. If you haven't attended Revive yet, come along to hear some truly gifted and inspirational speakers in a more informal format. Jan and David Arbon also provide thought provoking material as they lead worship, and different worship groups lead the singing.

God bless. Elizabeth Ramage.
