Lanchester KoG's Club
K.O.G. stands for Kids of God and is a young people's fellowship group that meets in Lanchester Methodist Church every monday night during term time.
The K.O.G club is open to all young people in School Years 4 to 8 whether they attend Church or not,and is open to all religions
Children in school years 4 to years 6 are welcome from 5.00pm till 6.30 pm and school years 7 upwards from 6.00pm till 8.30 pm.
Unusually, the club is run by a group of young people aged from 14 to 18 who are encouraged and supported by a team of adults.
The evening begins with a simple meal together - a very popular part of the evening.Then we join together in a range of activities including games,arts and crafts,dance,talking and sharing about Jesus and just being together.
School Years 6 and over also attend Ninth Hour in Newcastle on Sunday evenings once a month. Sessions usually end at 6:30pm.
Subscriptions are £1.50 per night and this includes the meal.
